Rust for IoT: Advantages and Disadvantages

We will explore the current state of Rust in the context of IoT and look ahead to its future prospects. Also, we’ll go through a full IoT network development cycle from IoT device development to cloud solution development. We’re going to learn what kind of crates the Rust community provides for the IoT area. Furthermore, we’ll discuss the advantages of using Rust for IoT and possible problems that can appear.

Rust with other languages: FFI binding

We’ll explore how to generate FFI binding from Rust to other languages such as C/C++, Python, Kotlin, and more. All the participants will find out how to use code from other languages in Rust. We'll discuss what tool unlocks the potential for Rust in order to create multi-language ecosystems, fostering collaboration and code reuse across diverse programming languages.
